I did post this last photo on one of my other posts, it was taken the same day just down the street from Much Music, I just love this photo, it was taken as I was walking across the street, just a quick click and hope something turned out and it did. For those of you who don't know it's the CN Tower in Toronto.

Skywatch Friday
The first two photos were taken outside of Much Music on Queen Street in Toronto last week. Its a lovely blue sky, but it was bitter cold, in the minus 30's that day. I did a couple of other posts on my "adventures" down there if you have time to read them? Part 1 Part 2 and Part 3 will be posted on Monday January 26th.

Gill, all three pictures of the sky (and the city) are beautiful. Hopefully it won't be as cold when you go back there.
Great photos!
Hope you are having a great day!
Love, Jess
I love citiscape shots! They are simply wonderful! The clouds rolling by in the first two are terrific... -30°!!! Holy cow!
MINUS THIRTIES??
Holy moley. I'm glad you and your camera didn't freeze, because the photos are gorgeous: you make the city look something majestic and wonderful.
Keep warm, and Happy Skywatch Friday!
It's always great when that little click turns out this well.
Nice shots.
I going back now and check out that receipe I see below. :)
Toronto is a great place for taking pictures. Wonderful photos of the buildings, clouds and sky! The CN Tower looks nice. :)
How on earth do you survive -30 Brrr!
The sky is a wonderful shade of blue the air must be very clear. If it wasn't for the trees it would look like summer.
These are all beautiful sky shots in the city.
You must get quite a view from that tower. It must be ideal for SWF.
It's strange that blue skies in winter mean frost. I prefer frost to this dreary wet grey days we had this week. Great photos!
Gill these are great shots. Its a shame it has to be so cold when the sky is so blue. I swear I will stop complaining when its 30 above 0. Hope you have a wonderful day.
It's a deceiving sky. One would think it wasn't so cold.
It does not look at all like winter with this sunny sky, it is probably good I an not feel the cold!
Wonderful choices for SkyWatch.
Great shots of TO, thanks for sharing.
Cheers!

Great shots and good luck with the weather. Yesterday was plus thirty.
Brrr....!
let me thank you for braving the deadly cold to bring us these. I love the cloud shrouding the top floors of the building. Can't help but wonder what that looked like from inside!
Great photos. Have a good weekend.
lol: at first I thought the last photo was Seattle Space Needle!
How strange that the sky at minus 30 can look as blue as the sky at plus 30! Great photos.
Lovely city shots. Can't really comprehend those cold temperatures though. Here it is hot and humid despite having had some lovely rain overnight.
I remember how cold it was. EW! Nice photos of TO!
Gee, I cannot believe the big buildings... they are incredible. I love the photos... how I would love to visit these cities! Amazing!

An interesting set of skywatch photos.

Great SkyWatch photos! Thoses one with the clouds surrounding the building's tower are very cool!
Nice city/sky photos! Looks like a beautiful place, can't imagine weather that cold though!
Great!Haven't been to Toronto since I was a teenager.
The sky seems to always be a bright blue when it's soooo cold. Great pics.
They have turned out wel. I do miss cityscapes to photograph.
i have enjoyed all your shots of toronto...never been there but, maybe in the future now that i am an eastcoast chick.
have a great weekend gill.

I can feel the cold in those pictures, but the air is clear and dry. Great angle on the CN Tower.
The tower looks very alien, doesn't it?
Gill - beautiful photos in your part of the world!
P.S. I meant to write sour cream on that recipe - sorry!
Gill: All three are beautiful captures, so nicely done.
Toronto is on my list of must visit places. A very good friend's brother lives there and they have visited him and told us all about the city. Beautiful.
City shots are always interesting Gill and that blue sky is very deceiving. A x
wonderful images. I love the reflections in the buildings of the second photo! Great colors.
Great SW photos.
Here where i live wee don't have one tall building! so it is very nice too look at all the city photos of sw!
I wondered how you had been able to capture the moon reflecting on the wall until I clicked to get the larger photo. ;O) That's one of the dangers with old laptops. =/
Very nice photos there ... and there is food and recipes in your blog too. Perfect! =)
I really enjoyed your sky watch photos today. I love the the tall buildings.
Have a great week.
