This recipe was one of the ones featured on the 50 + 1 Recipes for Apples post, the original recipe is from here This is an easy recipe, although it does have a number of steps. It is pretty sweet and very rich though.

• 1/4 tsp vanilla
• 1 cup all purpose flour
• 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
Filling:

• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 1 large egg
• 1/2 tsp vanilla

Crumble:
• 1/4 cup brown sugar
• 1/4 cup all purpose flour

Hello Gill,
I wonder if anyone ever called me 'that brazilian woman’?. I have lived in the UK for the past 23 years...
I love your purchase of fabrics and hopefully we will see the beautiful things you'll make with them.
PS: on your list of 50+1 recipes for Apples, can you please add one from Mrs Beeton's Apple Amber. I have tried it this week...
You're making me hungry! It definitely looks as if it is worth all those steps.
Yum, Gill... I love your apple recipes. Thanks for encouraging me to try some of them.
Hugs,
Betsy
This does look like a good recipe. I don't get around to baking much anymore. Sometimes if I know the kids are coming around, I might bake something.
Definitely one I'm going to try too. It looks really yummie.
thank you all for your comments...
Gill

Wow, sounds rich and delicious. Think maybe I'll print out the recipe with your kind permission and save it for Valentines Day. I think Mac has had quite enough sweets for one season, lol!
