I got this article in my in-box saying "How to pick the right handbag.........For your body type." Excuse me..........
Now as I am considered "Plus Size" these are the do's and don't for me:
Plus-sizePick a large structured or boxy bag to balance out your curves. Don't carry a bag that is too small as it will make you look larger. If you love prints, steer clear of tiny patterns.
Okay, can't say I have thought about this. I do have a couple of criteria that I stick to when I buy a handbag.
1. Must be large enough to carry everything but the kitchen sink.........
2. I like a bag that I can hang off my shoulders, so no short straps.
3. I like a place to put my cell phone, in the hopes that I can actually find the cell phone before it stops ringing.
4. Then last but not least, I need to like the colour of it.
Now I have just bought this handbag, by Vera Bradley when I was in the States. So I am guessing due to the small print the fashion police are having a hissy fit now?
So if you don't hear from me in the next couple of days, would someone come and bail me out, as its my guess that this will be the last straw for the fashion police, what with my socks and sandals thing I have going on, I wear white in the Fall and probably all the numerous other fashion faux pas I have committed, they will be hauling my butt to jail any minute!!!

It's a beautiful bag and I applaud your rebellion - long may we never be a slave to fashion and let's all just do our own thing. Thanks for sending me off to work with a smile on my face yet again :)
Too funny! Don't worry too much about the fashion police. I'm sure someone will set bail for you and get you out. ;-)
Hi Gill,
Lol I'll come bail you out.
I'm with you on fashion! I am a Rebel! I wear what I want ,when I want! I dress for comfort!
HAve a great day!

Lordy. Next you'll be telling us you wear crocs!
The fashion police need to be thrown in fashion jail themselves! LOL
I like the new purse -- a lot!
I think it's a beautiful bag, Gill. Screw the Fashion Police...
Let us know where to send the bail bondsman. I'll pitch in a few Riyals to get 'cha sprung!
Too funny...I'm a plus size too so we may be cell mates when the fashion police come after me as well.
P.S. I love your bag!!
You are so funny. Wouldn't want the fashion police around here!!
Well glad you all agree with me, and don't gasp, but yes I do wear crocs as they are comfie!!!!
Thanks for popping in and leaving a comment.
Gill
How funny! I'm like you - my purse must meet certain criteria. I don't like leather because it's too heavy. I like lots of pockets and a place to put my keys. I'm a plus size too but I have no intention of worrying about that! blessings, marlene
All your handbag criteria work for me. I love bags-so much more than shoes. And yet- the criteria still have to work.
My fave bags are Mulberry. I bought a few a few years ago- now I can't afford them. Shame. I can still look!
