My appointment was for 1:45pm.........

I finally got to see the doctor at 4:15pm.......  I had to go to the hospital for a check up on my hand and my appointment was for 1:45pm.  I have been at work this week, so left work at 12:45pm so I wouldn't be late.  She was running way behind and when I did finally see her I was in and out in less than five flipping minutes.  It then cost me $15 for the sodding parking.  I even managed to read half a book while there.  Don't doctors realize that our time is as important as theirs?

Is actually rather nice, here is the link to it. Although it isn't my style of interior decorating and way too modern I think you could get away with putting older pieces of furniture in it?  I love the expanse of glass in the house letting all the light in and letting the neighbours have a good look at the same time!!!!  The bathrooms and kitchen are nice, but does anyone actually live there, as everything looks so perfect and clean???

The condo of the week is well, very overpriced if you ask me.  I like the exposed brick work, but am not keen on the kitchen.  It looks like it's a show room condo, not one that people actually live in, and if it wasn't for the bunk beds, I wouldn't have guessed there were children living there either.  I wonder if the ping pong dining table is a joke or the best thing they had on hand to "show" where the dining area is supposed to be?

...the wait can sometimes drive you "buggy"; I am hoping the Specialist isn't too behind when I go for my appt today, as Rob is driving me and I hate like holding him up from work. Such is life, is it not?

That is so true. Last month my husband ortho doctor left him sitting in the exam room for 45 minutes.

Bravo to you

A long time to wait for the appointment. Hope you had a good book to read while you were waiting. Interesting real estate but I think I will stick to small and cozy.

Gill, I always ring my doctor before I leave to go, to see how far behing he's running. Might be worth considering as most have an overload of patients, let alone if some take longer than the time alotted. Susan

Hi! You have a great blog! I just found it and am a new follower. (Maybe they are super trendy and actually eat off the ping pong table?)

Doesn't look as if anyone lives there, does it! I've often wondered about that when looking at these sorts of pictures. I would never like living in that house for a miriad of reasons. Too open plan, no carpets, too sterile, too much glass (think horror films!)too cold looking etc. etc. Just my opinion of course.
Is your hand doing ok?

If it had been me waiting to see the doctor I would have given up after an hour.

Too much wooden floor in both those properties. I like to see a bit of carpet.

I think the least the doctor could have done is to offer to pay your parking!!!

makes me furious when doctors run behind like that. Sure I understand when things happen and usually it is the idiot patients that walk in expecting to be "fit in". i wouldn't mind the wait half the time if they didn't make you pay for parking, it cost two dollars an hour to see my doctor.
