Seems your surgery was done upscale.
Hubby had a huge cut across the wrist area, thankful the surgeon had good skills at sewing even though it still left a scar. He was given a prescription for Tylenol 3 and sent home in a wrapped up bandage which we had to dress. This was done about 15 years ago and He had to report back to work the next day!!!
He also had the second hand done, same procedure as the first only it was done a year after.
Be careful when having your hand in cold water because it seems to numb it and you can have a dead or funny sensation for a bit until it fully heals.
I truly think you will be fine and all the pain will be gone which in it's self will improve your use of the hand in time.
Knowing you, We can't keep That British Woman down even after surgery.
I'm glad the surgery went well! You're lucky you got called in early, the only thing I've ever had happen to anyone in my family their getting bumped back!
Well, it is very good to know the bandage will be off for the holidays. Hopefully, you are feeling pretty good and will feel wonderful very soon. Be good to yourself and get lots of rest. Tea and a good book?
How clever are you to be so organised at such short notice. I hope everything goes well and you recover in 'quick time'. Hopefully no pain and make sure you take it easy with that hand. Maa
