It snowed all day on Sunday, so figured I would show you a few photos.
Dh came home early enough that he blew out the driveway with the snowblower.....lots of {HUGS} for dh for doing that. While he was doing that I was busy wrapping the rest of the Christmas presents.
Needless to say I wasn't impressed with the rotten snow!!
This has nothing at all to do with Christmas songs, but I stumbled upon this song. I remember it from my childhood.
Then of course one of the biggest Christmas songs of my childhood is "Merry Christmas Everyone," by Slade:
This recipe for Candy Cane Brownies came into my in box and it looks pretty good.......think I will add it to my list of things to bake.

I love the Wombles!!!!
Oh Gill when I looked at those photos of the snow covered land and heard the tone of your voice it was almost as if you were thinking - if we've got to suffer with it so can everyone else who reads this LOL
If its any consolation most of the east coast of Australia is under water - so much rain we are flooded. Supposed to be summer and I had a hot water bottle in bed with me the other night!
Take care
Cathy
I'm really SULKING now! I NEED that snow!! Also I am going to be singing that damn Womble song all day now....THANKS! xxxxxxxx
Great pictures - looks chilly. And I remember the Wombles well - the first eco-recyclers in the UK!!
Oh my I remember the Wombles! I have a wind up toy one around here somewhere from our trip to Scotland when I was a kid. We loved to watch it when we were over there.
We, in comparison to you have absolutely no snow. I wish we had at least a bit for the sake of the kids. You could ship some down to Toronto, we wouldn't mind.
Haven't stopped by for awhile and am glad I did this morning. That's all the snow I want to see...in your beautiful photos. I slipped down to TX to escape the snowy winter this year!! ~karen
Snow is so nice to look at! Stay warm and well.
Yup, Montreal looks like your pictures tonight! The rain turned back to snow this morning and it snowed all day. We never had the Wombles in Canada, but I do remember that Christmas song from when I was little (it came out the year I was born, actually)and they still play it sometimes.
Our day is SO coming! Still no snow here but it's only a matter of time.
Jim
