Proud to be British born today........

The wedding was just beautiful.  The couple looked so happy and in love.  The dress was lovely, very classic and not over the top.  Loved Pippa's (maid of honours) dress as well, again very classic and classy.

The little ones were so cute.  The amount of organization going into this ceremony must be overwhelming, but it seemed to go without a hitch.

So pleased that the weather was lovely and it stayed dry for them.  Had a tear in my eye during the actual ceremony and when they played the National Anthem it was such a proud moment for all in Britain.

I ended up watching CNN and CTV for the coverage.  I found CNN to be better as it had Piers Morgan on there and he knows his stuff about Britain.

I had no desire to be there, but was glad to watch it on the tv and I think this was the boost both the country and the Royal family needed..........

I got up early and watched the whole event on CTV, loved every moment, best part was the flypast... a Hurricane, a Sptfire and a Lancaster, wonderful! But why oh why did CTV have that terrible Tracy Ullman, she's such a tart! can I say that on the internet?

I watched it all and felt very emotional during the service. Wasn't the crowd marvellous, typically British the way everyone got together and had fun. Yes, I felt proud today.

Well, I didn't watch but seen bits and pieces...I did love her dress. It was just perfect I thought....but don't guess anyone cares what I think and I don't blame them. I also think they seem to really love each other and I am happy for that and hope they always do.

It was lovely! I never thought of tuning in Piers Morgan--I like him anyway and would have enjoyed hearing his thoughts. But I'm not sure about that hat that Princess Beatrice wore...

It was fantastic! The bride was stunning, and I thought her sister's gown was exquisite. Lovely to watch all throughout and enjoyed hat watching, gown watching. We tuned into BBC America and were very happy with the coverage. They looked happy, as did everyone. Loved those little girls and boys, especially loved the little girl who had her hands over her ears because the crowd below the balcony was too loud for her. Beyond adorable!

I woke up at six and watched the marriage ceremony, then went back to bed until 7:00 and turned the TV back on to see William and Kate leave the church and ride to Buckingham Palace. It was a perfect start to my day :o)

It was a good day, the sort which seems to give people a bit of a lift. The bride looked so lovely and her sister looked amazing. Then when I saw the mother I realised why the girls are so beautiful. Only meant to watch bits of it but ended up watching the whole lot.
