Well I am so over winter........

what do you mean it's not winter yet? If I see any more bloody snow I am going to scream!!! We must have had well over a foot of snow these last couple of days.  Monday it was my turn to use the snow blower to blow out the driveway.......I was knackered after doing that, it's bloody well hard work.  Should say Molly is in her element in the snow, loves burying her face in it.

Sorry for the "strong" language, I have a feeling it's going to be a long winter!!!

I was listening to the radio the other day and this song is the most requested song on the radio.........

Monday's cookie was Sunny's Holiday PB & J Thumbprints That actually sounds not too bad.  I personally only like peanut butter in cookies.  I wouldn't dream of having a peanut butter sandwich; I am not a huge fan of penaut butter.

I'm joining you in cursing the weather. It is unbelievably cold here. Trouble is I'm not used to it being this bad. I can remember eating peanut butter but it's so long ago I've probably lost the taste for it.

I am shaking my head at Everyone around me in blogland (and closer, I'm not so far from you) talking about/photographing all their snow and we have only a dusting. Craptastically cold though.

I love peanut butter but not with jam.

I'm with you on the snow front...can't stand the stuff. Our woodstove is out of action, we are waiting for service people to call..it is COLD!!! (We do not have central heating).
As to peanut butter, I like it in cookies/ice cream..the flavour of it but I couldn't eat it "raw".

I'm trying to convert to pure peanut butter without added oil, but it's an aggravating nuisance. It's supposed to be "better" for me, but I think my blood pressure is going to go up even if my cholesterol goes down. What's the point?? ~Liz

Winter has only begun...I am okay with the snow...so far...but I am done tired of the cold temperatures.

When we lived in Spokane, Washington, the snow would come and NEVER leave. It was so cold! I spent many hours on the sofa, near the ever consuming wood stove, trying to stay warm. In Denver, it comes and then goes away, making room for the Colorado blue sky and sunshine. I'll send some sun your way, Gill!

No snow here yet. I thought we were going to have flurries on Sunday but they never materialized. It's 30 deg. F. here in northern Virginia. Thanks for the cookie link, and stay as warm as you can :)

I am with you this @#$% snow can't leave soon enough for me, it looks like it's going to be a long Winter. We have about a foot on the ground too and our newspsper forecast this a.m. indicated that we could get a total of three feet before the streamers off the lakes are finished. UGRRRRRRRR
Keep warm

It certainly sounds like it's going to be a long slog this winter Gill. So far we have been lucky - it is very cold here but no snow. A x

D'oh I couldn't hear or see the video because it is blocked in the U.K.
I'm sorry you're fed up with the snow. I can understand it. We are having the same inconveniences. Scotland is having the worst winter for forty years right now.
We were -6 degs today and that's in a town!!
Keep smiling and cooking.
ps your comment on my Blog re churchwardens - yes it is a thankless task. You're right about that. It takes a special kind of person to do it.
Blessings, Star

We've only got a tiny bit of snow so far - but watching the news, I see how much you guys are getting hit with it - I do not envy you at all! I'd like it to snow heavily on Christmas eve (while I'm nice and snug inside) and then stop for the season :)

Uh, yeah, we're up to about 30 centimeters in 24 hours here in Montreal and they had not even forecast it, we got a serious surprise!

As for my Sweetheart, I will be seeing him at Christmas, so a few times between December 22nd and 29th!

Sorry - don't shoot the mesenger!

you keep that snow there! DH bought a new snowblower--figured it would be Murphy's law and we wouldn't have any. Cold here though! I had a friend who refused to eat peanut butter. Said we would wake up one morning with half the population dead--our tongues stuck to the roofs of our mouths and choked. I think of him every time I eat a PB sandwich! I do my best to not learn ANYTHING about the snowblower. My mother gave me good advice once--"never learn how to do something you wouldn't want to have as YOUR job the rest of your life!"

Well, if they send you snow, make a snowman!
Actually, it's too powdery.

I am not minding the snow. I'm just glad not to have to go out in it if I don't have to.

But, I'd rather be here than in hurricane territory.

cheer up, only a few more months of winter!

at least its supposed to be cold in winter, its summer here and although the temps are highish the blood rain wont go away. I have just come inside from trying to keep the water from coming into the house. We have had so much rain and so hard we keep getting flash floods.

I'd package up & send you some of the lovely sunshine we have today if I could!!! And I can't stand peanut butter either!
