Ever had a day where you did nothing?

No? Me either!!!

Mind you Sunday was pretty close to that for me.  I did hoover up, clean out the fire, brought in logs, tidy up in the mudroom, picked up the poop (always a great job to do!!)

Did some tidying up, made meals, washed dishes and fed the birdies.  However after that I don't think I did much of anything.

I did watch a couple of movies in the afternoon.  Elizabeth and Elizabeth: The Golden Age both starring Cate Blanchett  Brought back memories about history lessons in school.  I loved history and geography at school, I think they were my favourite subjects.

Otherwise Sunday was a super quiet day which is how I like it.  Lets hope the rest of the week is the same as well.

I love history but I did not enjoy "Elizabeth The Golden Age", I found the sets too contrived - how about you?

I make myself have a day to do nothing once in a while. Need to recharge batteries. I usually feel guilty afterwards though, unless we do something a little bit fun.
The best ones are when none of us even get dressed and we play board games all day. Rare but special!

I started watching The Victorian Farmer last night. That's really interesting! We enjoy history, too.

Hope you have a relaxing week (whatever that is). ~Liz

I like lazy Sundays too Gill. However, like you said, there are always the essential jobs to do, aren't there. I like to watch a film in the afternoons too and very often fall asleep.
Re your comment on my Blog: I find that the more I know, the more there is to know!

I thought you did rather a lot before you settled down to watch the film. I used to be on the go all the time but just lately I've started to take things a bit easier. Must be my age.

Sounds like you had a nice Sunday Gill. I've always enjoyed history - and geography - the older I get I seem to enjoy it more. Enjoy the rest of your week.

I love days where you can do absolutely nothing. Not easy with two small kids and a dog around though...

Uh, that's what you call doing nothing? lol

I love Elizabeth, it's one of my favorite films. I was a bit less into 'The Golden Age', but found it good as well.
