Today's Flower

This is another photo from the archives.  I can't for the life of me remember what this plant is called, I though it was part of the primrose family?  I had this growing at the other house, wish I had transplanted it and brought it with me.

Hi Gill, I wish I could help you out with the flower's name, but I am a total ninny when it comes to gardening. :-) I was thrilled to read that you had take the little plants with you when you moved though, since I did the same thing. I have plants in my yard from my childhood house, and I love that they have set roots in this country just like I have!

thanks for letting me know about my blog taking a long time to download (or upload?). I did not know that since no one told me that before. I took a few of the glitter graphics out, so I hope that might out. Let me know if it is a bit faster now. Other then that, I have no idea why it would take so long since I don't have Playlist or anything like that, which is notorious for taking a long time. a mystery????

have a good weekend, what is left of it. Debby

Hi Gill I believe it is a primula. At first glance I thought spring had already sprung up there, but then I remembered you still have snow! Lovely flower though.

It certainly looks like a hardy plant. Love the centers of the bloom.
I bet someone will be able to identify it. :)

It is a type of polyanthus, my granddad used to call them Dusty Millar's. I have no idea why.
