Today's Flower

I found these two photos in a file, they were taken at the last house years ago, they are Anemone "De Caen" they're really pretty aren't they?  They can also be known as "Showy Windflowers," and they bloom between June and August.

What beautiful flowers. Love the purple center. I enjoyed enlarging these photos to get all the detail. Great shots :)

Brrr---looks cold there, Gill. I am sorry to hear about your tooth problem. Nothing in the world can hurt worse than a toothache. Glad that old 'thing' is OUTTA there.

Love your quilt squares also.. I love quilts and have several --although I do not quilt myself. Love the colors in yours.

It's warmer here today--and rainy. BUT--we had over a week of temps in the single digits (F)--which is horribly low for US here in TN.

Have a great day.
Hugs,
Betsy

I used to have lots of anemones...I am wishing I had planted some bulbs in November. These photos bring back nice memories of past gardens at my house. Nice!
