Money saving Tip (also good dieting time lol).

Cut down on those food bills by having a tooth out ;-)
Sorry...could not resist.
I do feel for you really, not nice having anything wrong with the mouth. You just cannot pretend it does not hurt because of where it is!
Hope you feel better soon!

Oh Gill! I read yesterday about your toothache!! I work in a dentist office and know what pain and agony one tooth can cause...I'm glad you were able to have it removed!! I hope that the Tooth-fairy paid you a visit and made a contribution to your savings and I hope you're feeling better very soon!!! TAKE CARE!!

Sometimes feeling sorry for yourself is just what the doctor orders - and it sounds like you are completely justified!! Hope you start feeling better really soon!!

Hi ... I'm visiting from Grumpy Old Ken's place - he gave your blog a 'shout'. I'm so sorry to read you're in such pain :( It sounds to me like you may have had an abcess - I had one once and can relate to your comment about it 'throbbing' with pain. Hopefully it'll be on the mend now. I hope you feel much better soon. Take care :-)

Praying for a speedy recovery, Gill, for both your mouth and your knee. It sounds like God was trying to balance your pain a little bit by making one at each end of your body!

Looking forward to more posts when you're feeling better.

Hugs to you!

Arghh!!!nothing is worse than tooth pain/surgery etc. I would rather have a Cesarean (again) than have my mouth messed with...no kidding! All this to say I FEEL for you! Take those meds and be as cozy as possible, hopefully you will be feeling better tomorrow.

Blessings,
Niki

Oh, Gill, I hope you feel better soon...I'm blessed with a very high pain threshold, but my brother isn't and neither is one of my best friends, so I've had to talk them through more than one very painful situation...I also had to wear braces for two years as a teenager, so here's a pointer: if you get sick of Jello, get your hands on some baby food. Send dh out for some, trust me, it fills you up more and the fruity ones are great. Cream of wheat works very well too, add honey to it as it's a great natural antibiotic.

Hope you're soon on the mend, tooth or ear troubles are the worst! Take your 'meds' and take it easy!! We'll be here when you return :-)

Btw- would a hot water bottle or wheat bag held to the area where the tooth was help at all?

So Sorry to hear you are having a painful time. Take it easy and you will be okay. Dredge up some of that old fashioned Northern Grit - help you get through.

Take care Vicky x

It's all up from here though, isn't it! The pain will decrease once your body realises it's got rid of the problem. You can, in the meantime, dream of a nice juicy hamburger or whatever your current favourite snack is.

Sleep a lot - I find I can ignore the pain while sleeping - catch up on some sleep.

Feel better soon.

It will soon be a thing of the past. If stood child birth, you can stand a tooth problem. And like my dentist once said to me, when I told him I thought I would rather go through child birth then come to see him. (He was an older retired Army dentist, rough as all get out) He said yes, but when you come see me, you go home with a sore mouth for a few days, you go have a baby and you've got at least 18 years or longer of pain. LOL
