Today's episode of "What's hanging on the washing line today!!"

****WARNING FOR HEATHER,MY SIL, DO NOT READ ANY FURTHER OR YOU'LL KNOW WHAT I AM MAKING THE KIDS FOR CHRISTMAS.....LOL*******

Well today it is flannel, 15 meter's of flannel infact. I broke the cardinal rule, and brought in fabric and took it upstairs to my sewing room/ds bedroom without washing it. Now my excuse for this, is that I bought it when it was cold and there was snow on the ground. I knew I didn't want to wash and dry this fabric in the house, I wanted it to dry on the washing line. Figured today was as good a day as any to do this, as I had no other laundry.

So what am I going to be doing with all this flannel you ask, well I am making quillows for my nieces and nephew for Christmas. I think I will use this pattern as its pretty basic and easy to follow.

This is the girls fabric hanging on the line:

This is a close up of "A's" fabric, as she is a figure skater, amongst many things.

This is a close up of "C's" and she is taking dance classes.

"B" is sports mad, so thought this was a good choice of material for him.

Now to find the time to sew these!!! I think it may be a July project.

Can't wait to see how your gifts turn out. I can't think of a nicer gift than to have one that is made by the loving hands of a relative or friend.

I like homemade gifts also. You know people have thought about the gift and took the time to make it.

Can you come and teach me how to sew???!!! Hubby gave me a sewing machine for Christmas TWO years ago and I have been slooooowwwwly teaching myself(along with some pointers from my mom, who is a seamstress). I like quilting but just haven't spread my wings to other sewing ventures. :)

Thanks for stopping by today! As to your question about the cheesecake. I have made it in the afternoon(12-1pm) and it is ready to eat by 7pm. It is like soft set but it is still ready to eat. If I were you I would make it up on Saturday evening and stick in the fridge overnight to set and it will be nice and easy to cut and the squares keep their shape and all for a Father's day lunch or dinner. :) HTH!

Tuesday was a mixed bag type of day. Had the appliance repair guy come again to install another circuit board in the fridge.  When hubby got...
