So let's see........

Dh - not sick  (thank the lord!)

Gill - strep throat

DS - flu/cold

DIL - flu/cold

DD - strep throat

SIL - strep throat

Munchkin - strep throat

So the blame game begins.  We have all blamed one another for this latest outbreak.  Our Little Munchkin was the prime suspect as she is a walking germ factory; however she wasn't showing any symptoms of this, just her usual nasty "smoker's" cough and a runny nose. One thing about our family, we love to share!!

Then just to add to all this misery, my doctor announces that Our Little Munchkin will probably take up to two years to stop getting sick when in daycare.  As I said that's no flipping good as when she gets sick I get sick.

Finally for your viewing pleasure:
Did it?

Oh dear, sorry to hear about the ailments. I suppose it's good for your grand daughter to be exposed to these germs and build up the immunities she will need. But it will be a bumpy road for you!

Never fails. Kids go back to school, bugs have a major celebration.

Yuck - summer bugs! Bugs are never ending when little ones are involved! I haven't missed the bugs since I have been off work and away from children. That said - I can't wait to go back!

Sorry everyone in the family is ill. We try not to share but it seems to be an effort in futility, though we did blackball my sister from physical contact with us last week since she was contagious.

And yes you entertained this idiot for a brief moment!

Sorry you are all so sick! Being sick in the summer is the worst. So much you want to do outside and you just don't feel like it. Feel better soon.

I am so sorry. The upside of this is that when she begins at school she probably won't get as sick as she would have had she not been exposed to the germs now. That happened to our oldest child and she almost had to repeat 1st grade because she was sick all of the time. The boys were around kids all of the time since I had a home daycare by then. They always had runny noses, etc. but never had to miss a day of school when they were older.

Doesn't help much now, but hopefully helpful when she's older!

Blessings,
Betsy

Yes, it did! We have been sick as well and it started with our SIL -- stomach virus that went to my DD and the Bean then me. Hubs didn't get it. Then the Bean got some sort of upper respiratory virus that DD got then I got then Hubs got and we just can't seem to shake it. And, of course, Texas is trying to wash off the map which isn't helping a thing. I almost hate to say that I will be glad when summer gets here.

So sorry you have strep too. At least with antibiotics you should feel better soon. I had 1 year that I seemed to be frequently sick when my first granddaughter was little. I seemed to develop some immunity after that or maybe it was because I became very diligent about washing hands and having them wash hands....and I never ever share food or drinks With them even if they seem well.

I so remember those days of nursery school and primary with my two. It will be head lice next, not to totally ruin your day:)

Yes it did, and I am ashamed to say, I think it did one time before. LOL BTW, I have my own germ factory so we could visit each other and not have to worry too much. Lo has a cough now..doesn't feel bad. Just a nasty cough if she plays hard or gets too hot.

Hotel Stay - Dinner

As part of our hotel stay the kids had booked us dinner, breakfast and afternoon tea. Here is what we ate at dinner.  Everything was spot on...
