That is so cute - I am glad the squirrel managed to get some food still, they are so cute!
Squirrels are nothing if not persistent. We watched one at our neighbor's house one year. He had feeder where you pushed the ear of corn down on a nail or spike of some sort. The squirrel worked and worked at it...pushing and pulling on the ear till he got it loose and took the whole thing.
Very entertaining is right
