Dh hauled up the Christmas tree from the basement for me. It still needs to be "fluffed out."
The one ornament on the tree is my new Wedgwood ball for this year:
I will decorate the tree throughout the week, when I have more energy.
My mam brought over some Cadburys chocolate decorations for the tree. Mind you just discovered that the strings are to tie on them, so those will have to wait until I get my cast off. Or should I just eat them?? Decisions, decisions.........
Things are improving with my hand. Still can't do a lot of things, and when I do too much my hand tells me!!! Only 10 more sleeps and the cast will be removed!!!

The worst part about putting up the tree is the 'fluffing out'! I think it took me nearly 45 minutes to get the tree constructed before I could start decorating! I am still not 100% happy with mine this year - it has some bare branches that just don't look right. I am in love with your Wedgewood ball - do you have many of them? Would love to see them. Glad the hand is improving slowly,
Joolz
There are only 9 choccy decorations, they will look lost on a big tree, Molly may get to them, they melt in the heat...OK thats 3 excuses to eat the chocolate!!

I think the chocolate is calling me from all the way accoss the seas. If you can resist wait until your cast is off and put them on the tree. otherwise you may need to eat them, purely for medicinal reasons. haha
It is my highly expert opinion that the chocolates should be eaten. Right now.
love the ornament! I collect Lennox ornaments -- my whole collection came from my dear, sweet cousin. I will post a pic in a few days.
We will be going out cutting a tree (Dec 6)
Glad you can see improvement in your hand. Lovely new ornament there. Makes me want to get mine out now. I'd go for the chocolate! I think you deserve an early treat.
Your Wedgewood ornament is very pretty Gill. Glad your hand is improving. Do you mean plaster cast? Do you have one of those on your hand? I didn't when I had it done. I just had a crepe bandage.
I hope that cast will be off sooner rather than later...hanging the chocolate seems a bit redundant...eat away my friend, eat away! Love the Wedgewood ball...it is stunning

I am sure you will make the right decision with those chocolates...glad your hand is moving right along. I bet you are counting the days!
What beautiful decorations, Gill. Have you been collecting these for a long time? Maa
