Please, please, please click on the link for the condo of the week, I have NEVER seen anything like it, here is the link Each room just made my mouth drop open even more and not really in a good way I may add. I guess it takes all sorts to make a world, but I think I'll keep my $3 million dollars (if I had that much money) for another house.............
As per one of the comments on the condo site it belonged to this man: http://realscreen.com/2011/07/20/history-television-canadas-head-hunters-hit-by-untimely-death/
The home of the week although nice wasn't my cup of tea, as I think like one of the comments said I would prefer more than five feet between my neighbours for that sort of price, here is a link to it. I am assuming there was an old house there before hand and it was torn down and this put up in it's place.

Interesting! Not my cup of tea but then I guess it would be a boring old world if we all thought the same way.
If somebody wanted to give me those houses I wouldnt say no.
Apparently I don't buy enough when I travel that is the most amazing collection!! Like you, Gill, I sat with my mouth open looking at the photos.
As for the house, way too cold looking for my taste never mind no one needs to own a house worth that!!
I have seen that house before, driving past. It is huge, and they can keep it. Imagine the taxes alone? No give me 200 acres, no neighbours prying and I don't need to worry about dandelions growing on the lawn.
What the....???
OK I'll admit that my cats would have great fun speeding up and down the stairs...and I thought the penguins in the bathroom were kind of fun!

Ghastly! Doesn't look as if it was ever really *lived* in; more of a show-off space (like an English stately home). I like my own house, thank you... :-)
Sorry - I think the 'Condo of the week' is some kind of joke, something out of the mind of detective Jacques Clouseau in the Pink Panther.
I'll keep my money rather than waste it on that garish monstrosity!
Well, I would not want to live in the condo, but I would like to visit it just like you visit a museum. It reminded me a lot of Sloane's house in London.
The mansion, on the other hand, is my dream house. As a matter of fact, I am hyperventilating!
Little spend y..aye
Coffee is on.
Someone would have to pay me to live in that first one! And I am with you on the second....if I am going to pay that much, even in my dreams, I want to be more than a few feet from my neighbor!
Merry Christmas to you and your family, too, Gill!
