Just when I was complaining about it snowing the other day, up pops a glorious day. Monday was a super day with the sun shining all day. I had my dad and step-mum over and after they left I went outside and planted some spring bulbs.
When dh came home he drove me to TSC and I picked up another 50 tulip bulbs and 50 daffodils bulbs. They were on sale for 75% off, a price you can't beat. So I hope to have a lovely show of bulbs in the spring.
Is anyone watching Dancing With The Stars on a Monday night? It's the first time I have watched it and I am thoroughly enjoying it, other than all the adverts. They are driving me crazy. Every two minutes there seems to be an advert???? Not sure who I want to win, probably either Brandy or Jennifer.........if Bristol Palin isn't kicked off this week, there is something clearly wrong!! I am also reading online at Daily Mail UK about the British version of Dancing With The Stars. I am rooting for Felicity Kendal, as I loved her on The Good Life.
I am back at the dentist today.........another one of those bi-weekly visits!! Good news is that I don't have toothache at the moment.......for how long though who knows!! I will let you know on Wednesday how I got on........
I am a British born, living in Canada since May of 1989. My blog is about all aspects of my daily life.

I know what you mean about adverts driving you mad. On british TV a very popular series "Downton Abbey" has just finished. We got so fed up with the adverts we ended up recording the programmes and then skipping the adverts. Strictly Come Dancing is very popular over here but a row has developed over Anne Widdicome (ex MP) who is truly atrocious but causes a great many laughs!
How interesting that we should both have 'trouble' with our dancers. There's an uproar here at the unfairness of keeping someone who can't dance and getting rid of an excellent couple. Even the sternest judge says so. I wonder if it's deliberate policy for entertainment reasons rather than ... as ours is called ... Strictly Come DANCING.
Good luck at the dentist.
Our weather is varied at the moment as well Gill. No heating on yet but this morning was much cooler. Maybe this evening I will flick the heating switch.
Good luck at the dentist! A x
I read the Daily Mail on line every day!!! You get all kinds of gossip!!
Thank you for your nice visit at my blog! I really appreciate it.
Even though my blog is only photoes, I try to write some in English in addition to my own language. So it's nice to get visits from people who speaks English.
I hope your little Molly gets better. I love dogs, have had 2 on my own.
Hello Gill
Dancing with the Stars is truly international - there is an aussie version as well. I was a really big fan to begin with but after several seasons its becoming a bit ho hum for me.
Lots of Ch7 'celebs', actors, sportsmen and women and other celebs and yes we have the non dancers (terrible) who are atrocious. But seemingly one of the conditions is that they must never have 'danced' before and supposedly are judged by the live judges on improvement. Have seen a few 'live' war of words 'tween dancers and judges after performances and often wondered if they were real or for publicity
Of course the catch is that the other half of their score comes from the public and the public vote always seems to be a popularity contest - so thats where the wanna be's/hangers on get to stay around for longer than necessary.
Take care
Cathy
I use to watch it however we no longer have tv. It was fun watching though when we had a tv. I'm back. Missed you.
Recording is the only way to go then you can skip all the ads except for the gecko - have to watch him! Have a horrible feeling Ann is going to win which will make a bit of a mockery of it all! I watched a couple of the programmes while I was home and king friends are keeping me updated!.
It was a lovely day here too, such a beautiful blue sky :o)
I'm glad your tooth isn't hurting right now, but I'm totally with you for the second opinion! Let someone who hasn't seen your tooth before have a look at it and they might find the problem right off the bat!
