Cobwebs and Caviar......

that's the name of my local quilting store. Here is a link to the store, and a couple more in my area (check out the Shop Hop page).

I was there on Tuesday for my block of the month club and took some photos. It was busy so was hard to get quick photos taken with no one around. I will take more of the quilting fabric area later in the week when I go back in, but you name it they have it!!

(as always click on the photos for more detail)

I must say I could spend a small fortune in there. I am hoping someone may get me a gift card for the store for Christmas!! So this month's block is called Flyfoot can't wait to make it.

Love the name and it looks like a fabulous place, Gill. Our local quilt store closed, sadly. Very sorry to see it go. Hope you get that gift card! :-)

Wow! Now that is utilization of space! How fun it would be to spend the day in there just browsing ~ I'd definitely have to have the pocketbook restraints on, though.

On my last trip back to the UK I came back with wool and a fools guide to patchwork - and unfortunately it is still sitting in the bookcase! I got the knitting sorted so my project for 2010 WILL be to get some patchwork done - not exactly a popular hobby in Italy!! - I just wish we had a shop like yours!

I'm glad I'm not close by. I'd have an aweful time with my budget plans if I was. What a neat looking store. Hugs..

Gill
Hopefully everyone in your family reads your blog because it's the perfect place to shop. I would go crazy with all the choices you have.
I picked up some material last weekend (rustic stars) just because I loved the look of it and I knew it wouldn't last long at the store. I'll figure out later what wall hanging pattern to turn it into.

Just seeing these photos makes me drool. I'm not talented at all with fabric but I find it just delicious to look at and feel. I must tell friends about this place though. Hmmm....perhaps a road trip is in order!
