Tuesday....it's snowing outside so what to do......

(as always click on the photos for more detail)

Well first you take a photo of the snow falling, so people don't think you're whining just for the heck of it. Yes that is a high school across the road from us, there is a "ravine," I personally would call it an over sized, mosquito and weed infested ditch and a 2 lane road (meaning two lanes each side) between us. So the little darlings, don't really bother us.....

You then make a cup of rooibos tea with vanilla, and sit down and read the latest seed and flower catalogs.

For supper you make a pork and bean stoup (soup/stew) with homemade bread.

Yep that's what you do when its snowing!!

Daily Savings Club. Are you still putting that 50 cents away each day? You should now have $2.50 in your pot now........

Oh, Gil, your "stoup" looks so yummy that I can almost smell it all the way over here in California! Save me a bowl. . . I'm on my way over! lol. The homemade bread sure sounds inviting, as well. Golly, I haven't made bread in a very long while. I think YOU are going to be a good influence on me! *vbg*.
Bye for now, friend...
hugs,
Cyn:-)

It's been a long time since I had a snow day (and, in fact, I had two): they are one of the best side effects of snowfall.

What's rooibos tea? Never heard of it. Soup looks lovely. It snowed here last week but only about an inch. It's almost all gone now. We were expecting a snow and ice-storm a few days ago but apart from a hint of it, the full force never materialized. I even did a stock-up-a-bit shopping run for the event. I think they got our snow and ice-storm a bit west of us but when I look up north I think our western neighbors will agree that it could have been a lot worse.

Hey Gill, I still love snow--but even us down here in TN are ready for spring.. I lived near a high school one time... I actually enjoyed hearing the band practice late in the afternoons.

Your homemade bread sounds wonderful... YUM!!!!! SO does the soup/stew (stoup) and hot tea. I'll be there soon!!! Save some for me.

Hugs,
Betsy
