Earworm............

An earworm, sometimes known as a brainworm,[1] is a catchy piece of music that continually repeats through a person's mind after it is no longer playing. As per Wikipedia

At the moment this song is going through my head like a crazy person:

Last week this song I could't get rid of this song from my head:

Then I heard this song on the radio and thought what a great song, didn't click what it was about then I googled the video and was a little shaken by it.

What song gets into  your head and you can't get rid of it?

It's the little clips from those @#$% Amazon commercials.
First it was the dog with the broken leg, now it's a pony using a dog door.

Usually the first song I hear in the morning is one that gets into my head all day. Since I listen to Christian radio, it's usually one of those songs. Some I enjoy more than others. :-)
Blessings,
Betsy

I can see how Don't Speak tends to end up becoming an ear worm. There are several that have that effect on me.

We only have to sing a few bars of 'On the Street Where You Live' from My Fair Lady for it to be stuck in my mum's head for the next 24 hours.

I get funny ear worms all the time, but I'm so rubbish with song titles, I quite often have no idea what exactly I'm singing! Ha ha! I was actually just singing one while I was reading this - no idea what it is, but I think I heard it from a car going past at some point this morning. I'm not keen on Hozier's 'Take Me To Church', but do like his second single (bearing in mind what I said above re: song titles) 'Fall in Love'.

I have that all the time. Usually it's the last song I sang along to in the car. But I've never heard it called an earworm before. I'm going to have to use that lol thanks
