Dining Room Light Fixture.

We got the dining room fixture back in December of 2014, hence all the Christmas touches.  Again it is a Currey and Company fixture called Sethos Rectangular Chandelier.

.

Again it is both a work of art and a light fixture.
In the living we put two sconces that match the Sethos Chandelier, again click on this link to see a better picture.
It was the glass that attracted me to all these pieces.
And finally, yes we need a larger tv for the top of the fireplace.  Dh and children are constantly reminding me of this.  Me personally, I couldn't care one way or another!!!

That's beautiful :) i'm the same i couldn't care less what size my t.v is, i rarely watch it unless there's a good programme like The Great British Sewing Bee or Supervet, but i read mostly, which is good because i can zone out when The Bearded Wonder is watching football!lol :)

I love the lighting fixture! Your fixture is beautiful and so is your home. It took me nearly two years until I could find what I liked. I do not like the super modern stuff and I do not like the grandma type "classics".

I've been off overhead light fixtures for a while... the ones the previous owner of our house had installed were horrid plastic and glitter monstrosities. The lovely pieces you've chosen have revived my interest!

With you on the t.v. I'd been happily t.v. free for over a decade, then the Great Scot insisted... *sigh*

I like your taste in lighting, Gill. Hey, if you can see the TV then it's fine. We are still watching a "small screen" TV too.

An interesting location for a flatscreen!

Your light fitting is unusual and very pretty and I love the candle sconce! Strange place to put the TV! Perhaps you will get a larger set and mount it on the wall? We only have a small TV at our cottage but it is in keeping to the room. A large TV here would look odd.

That lighting is gorgeous! I love the little glass pieces...
In our house, Leon would pull a tv off the mantle. So that's out for us. But someday would like to install a flatscreen on the wall above. That would be cool...

Hi Gill,
I really like your light fixtures. I like unusual or different lights. Especially artsy or old ones. I'd love to get one at our local opalescent glass shop. I'm letting my hair grow out too. I have no idea why except I don't like spending time in beauty shops. As for the tv, I'm the same way. I didn't even care if we got one when we moved. We are on an antenna! No cable. I like to watch nice romantic comedy movies.
Well I'm trying to get caught back up with blog reading. Life is slowly getting back to normal.
