I made sugar cookie's
Sugar Cookies, recipe here I used the baking sheet below for one lot of the cookies , and they weren't that good............
Look at how fluffed up that Sparrow is, it must have been cold out there....
This is a photo of the female Northern Cardinal, again all fluffed up...

That cardinal is gorgeous! It's DH's favorite bird. . . . . Just had a cookie for breakfast. Think I'm going to have to make some more if we're to have any by Friday. They've already finished off the Amish iced cookies I made Sunday.

Hi Gill, your cookies look yummy! I can smell them right through the screen of the laptop, almost. It must be very cold for your birds to pouf up so. Those cookies look great! You're really good at getting pictures of birds too, they're often not very easy to capture. As for the Christmas song, it's one of my aunts' favorites.

I saw the maple ones and thought the recipe was close to the ones from another blogging site that I adore for great cookie recipes too. Some how maple and Christmas go hand in hand.

I'm impressed you are still able to get so many photos of birds in your area ~ there's not many around here anymore...they've all flown elsewhere for the winter.
