Made a couple of soup bowl cozies for a quick gift the other day.
Two fat quarters or two 10 " x 20 " pieces of fabric and four pieces of batting 10 " x 10" and thread is all you need to make these. The full instructions are on this blog post.
The photos below are all soup bowl cozies I have made in the past.
I generally make them in pairs as they are reversible. The can be put in the microwave and are fully washable. I don't throw them in the dryer though.

My friend calls these "porridge cosies" and her family hold their bowls of microwaved oatmeal in them at breakfast
I love your soup bowl cosies. So clever and pretty
Those will come in handy.
Thank you for the link to the instructions. I am going to make some for me. This past winter I would serve soup at the stove then nearly fry my hands taking the bowls to the table
I really like my soup bowl cosies. I use them lots.
I made some for one of our sons a couple of Christmas's ago and plan on making some for our other son this Christmas.
God bless.
I have never made any of these and I am not sure why...I know I would use them!
I made a couple of these for morning porridge after you posted about them & they're great.
Thanks for the tutorial information.
