Bit of a change up this week.

Here is my menu plan for the week:
Instead of eating things on certain days; these are the meals I am going to make and whatever we fancy that night off the list is what I will make.

I am hosting the book club meeting today.  So on Sunday thought I'd get a jump start on the cooking and made the gingerbread.  While the oven was on put some Scotch eggs in too cook along with some Rosemary potato wedges.
I'll show you what else I served the ladies tomorrow.

This month's book was The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion.
You can read my review here.  Has anyone read The Rosie Effect?  What did you think of it, as the reviews were mixed?

O haven't read that. I've just finished reading the Wayward Pines books. Enjoying the tv series and seen that by episode 3 they've deviated from the book.

I'm liking the look of those potato wedges. I need to try adding rosemary, now I have my fabulous herb pots.

I haven't read it but not sure if I would. I am not a fan of light hearted books, I want something deeper.

I have both the Rosie books on my kindle write now. Can't wait to hear what you think of them. I hope to get around to reading them in the summer. Three more weeks of teaching - I think I can make it!!

The gingerbread sounds very appealing to me right now! I have never read either Rosie book.

I have not read either book, and went and read your review. Not sure I want to, now. LOL

My mother would tend to make cheese sauces for broccoli, though every once in awhile she had it for cauliflower too. Usually she'd have a white sauce with cauliflower.

I do like the idea of planning a weekly menu but have never been organized enough to do it. Your menu sounds perfect.
