Dh got the privacy fence put up, you can see it from the living room.
This is the before.
This is the after. Along with our new umbrella.
It's perfect and does the job. It's around the same height as me, so around 5 foot, five inches.
We then sat down and had a nice cool glass of lemonade.

Perfect spot for a nice, cool glass of lemonade.
The screen looks good - just the job to give you a bit more privacy. I like the red umbrella too!
The privacy fence did the trick, now you have a nice spot to sit and relax.
I get it now...I misunderstood before. I thought maybe fence was just the British way of saying railing. I do really like this. Looks good!
My next door neighbors did the same thing when they built a gigantic condo behind us -- the people on the 3rd floor can look down into our yards and probably houses. We just planted trees.
Good work!
It looks really nice! I'd love to sit there and visit :)
i like that, we live on 23 acres and have lot of privacy on our 15'by55' back porch
A perfect place to sit and chat, read your book and knit away. I like it lots!

A great job, it looks really good. The perfect place for a lemonade.
Perfect! It looks beautiful and does the job well. The umbrella will be great for shade too.

It's looking good and a lot more private.
xx
That does look good!
Looks great Gill! What a lovely place to sit and relax.
That's great. It's nice to have privacy from neighbours.
I like your straws!
1 watched several programs yesterday showing US homes in Florida and they didnt have fences surrounding their properties. Just a house surrounded by grass with this strange meshed in area for mosquitoes. Where do the animals live? What about privacy. Anyone could walk right around the house. I do like your area. Such lovely homes. Though if i had a choice id be on a property with 10 acres and an old homestead.
That is brilliant, Gill!
Glad you have a bit of privacy now!
Your new privacy fence makes it very cozy and private and I like the umbrella. We will be buying one soon; does it stand up to a wind, and is it easy to open and close?
