Signs of Fall........

There are signs of Fall appearing all over the garden, plus on Thursday there was actually no humidity and dh said it was down to 11oC when he went to work at 4:30am.  I love the cooler temps makes it so much easier to sleep.

I have been cutting the grass over the past couple of days and here are some photos from around the acreage:

The grapes are nearly ready, so fingers crossed I get them before the birdies and my four legged friend, who made an appearance on Thursday afternoon.

The apple trees are are full of fruit:

nice and ripe ready for picking:

The mountain ash tree has lots of berries on it:

Not sure what sort of bush this is but the berries look really lovely:

We've noticed the shift in weather here as well. We had had very cool past couple of days, but have a few hot ones ahead according to Enviro Canada....which is ok, not quite ready to be done with summer yet :)
New granddaughter pic on my blog Gill, come and admire...

What kind of grapes are they? (and don't say purple ones!)

Love those grapes and apples. I remember making a batch of jelly from wild grapes when I was in high school. It lasted four years! I didn't know how strong the wild variety was. ~Liz

There are signs of fall creeping in here too! I have woken up nice and rested two mornings in a row now thanks to the cooler weather!

Yes the past few cool night have been great - nice to open the windows again - except for the dogs in the neighbourhood barking at 6am!

Autumn already? well maybe here too. There is a slight tinge of gold in the trees I've noticed. Loved your berries and recipes.

That's quite a bounty you've got there. Keeping my fingers crossed you harvest before your wildlife does.

Gill, I've cut my grass too, its started to grow again after all the recent rain we have had.
The air is starting to get that "Fall" smell from the tired plants in the garden as they begin to die back.
Looks like a bumper crop of grapes and apples on the "acreage"
