Our son came to stay on Monday night to be looked after by his mummy. The poor boy is so sick. He has some sort of bronchial virus thingy going on. He ended up in Emergency on Sunday night in Trenton of all places, as he was that sick. He was in the Ottawa area on the weekend, and this was sort of on the way home.
As he is 27 it's been a while since I have had to nurse him while he is sick. His expression on his face on Monday night was just like he looked when he was little. He was such a little drama queen. My mother used to tell the story about when he was little and he fell, my mother asked if he was okay, and in a sorrowful voice he said, "I'll be alright."
I think he is in cahoots with Molly as to who can look the most sorrowful
However on a more serious note he truly is not well. The doctors told him he had to go back to emergency after a couple of days if he was no better. So fingers crossed he feels better by Tuesday night.....

Oh dear - hope son is feeling better now Gill. I can still remember the first time I felt ill and wanted my mum when I was an adult. A x
Stay hydrated - all of you!
How lovely that your son even at 27 still wants to come home to be looked after by his mum!!! I bet you're secretly loving having him home for a short while. Hope he improves and doesn't need to go back to emergency.
Good luck to your son - lots of Mum's loving and plenty of chicken soup (chop a little fesh coriander and stick in it as well!)
I'm sorry to hear your son is feeling so poorly and I hope he will soon be well again. When the children! are ill, it is almost worse than when you are ill yourself. My son is having a tooth out in half an hour's time. I said I'd go along to give him moral support. So far he has had NO dental treatment whatsoever. I thought he had a perfect set of teeth and he has, compared to mine! However one has gone bad and needs to come out. I felt duty bound to go with him.
However old you are, a mother's care is the best there is!
Please let us know how he's doing.
I can just picture Molly and your son, cuddled up on the settee together...

Hope he feels better soon.
I hope your son feels better soon. My daughter-in-law had a really nasty bout of bronchitis, and after the second dose of antibiotics, is ever so slowly on the mend.
