The raspberries are starting to ripen and I need to start picking. However look who I caught eating raspberries this morning:
Yes I can see you......
Yes I am coming to get you:
Yes, you had better run away, as I am not happy:
The silly thing stood in the middle of the field barking and howling at me for a while. Meanwhile I could hear Molly in the house howling as well, so thought I had better go in as dh was still sleeping.
The coyote then came back through the raspberry bushes, but didn't stop before it went into the field down to the creek. So now I must get those raspberries picked before it eats them all.

Coyotes love fruit, they nick our apples too!

Ack! He's pretty bold isn't he!? Hope he doesn't return anytime soon!
For someone living in a non-coyote area I thought the animal looked great.
Oh no!!! Hurry up and grab them all while you can!!!
Wow! There sure are plusses and minuses about having wildlife living so close. Here, in Australia, city folk go 'ape' over kangaroos, while we rural folk regard them as a feral pest devouring crops.
Looks like you could be in Texas!
I guess that coyote knows a good thing when he sees it!! :-)
I hope you're doing well Gill--With the puppy, I don't get as many blog visits as I used too...
