Having a week of not sleeping well.....

No idea why but must admit it is both tiring and annoying.  Last night was a bit different, as I went to sleep at my regular time, but was awake by 4am.  The three nights previous I went to bed later, only for me not to sleep.  I am one of these people who if I don't fall to sleep within a few minutes of getting into bed, I toss and turn like crazy.

Dh's eyes are on the mend, but are still not right yet.  Today will be his last day for drops in his eyes so we'll see what happens tomorrow.  At least he doesn't look like something out of a horror movie.

Bathroom is all decorated I just have to put it back together.  I was too tired yesterday to do other than the most basic in there so we could use it.  I want to give it a good spring clean so will tackle that on Monday morning.

We got a call from the carpenter and he is coming on Tuesday of next week to put the new banister and spindles up.  It will be strange to have banisters going up the staircase and landing again.  We haven't had any for the last year or more now!!  Luckily we don't have young kids in the house, as its an accident waiting to happen!

I am going shopping with dd today, not wedding shopping, although we do have one errand to run at a printers to see about printing the wedding invitations.  Just general shopping and a girls day out.  We are going to an outlet mall close to us for a look around.  Poor dh will spend part of the day in the attic getting the rest of the floor down and watching English football on Setanta Sports.

Swagbucks is having it's third birthday party on Monday and is offering an extra 30 swagbucks if you join up at the moment.  You need to use this code: 3rdBirthday138 So all in all when you first sign up you get 80 swagbucks.  All you need is 450 swagbucks to get a $5 Amazon dot com, or dot ca e-card.  In Britain you need 849 (I think) swagbucks to get a 5 Pound Amazon dot UK e-card.

It's a good time to join up.  If you would like more info just ask, and if you would like to join up, please could you use my referral link, which is:

that always makes life's little irritations harder to cpe with. We have 'herbal nytol' here in the uk, iti snon addictive, and I find 2 or at most 3 nights taking that gets me backinto a better patternof sleep

Oh, sounds like are having sort of the same sleep problems...we just don't get sleepy at night...even my husband is staying up later and later. Then go to bed and get about 5 hours sleep...thank God he is retired and I don't work either...so we can sleep in till 9:00 or 10:00. One night this past week it was 5:00 a.m...we went to bed earlier and laid there and tossed and turned and even trying talking...finally got up and read for a while....

Maybe you've been wording too hard and getting over tired? If that's the case, then you need to slow down a little.
I always think it's dangerous without banisters. It looks nice but one slip and over you go so it will be good when you have them back, won't it.
You mentioned the English football. Is your husband English then?

There must be something in the air. We haven't been sleeping too well around here either. I'm not sure if it has to do with such a long winter (we've been getting plastered since November. I think think the less active I am, the less I sleep.

Or maybe I'm just plain getting older....My mama (who will be 80 in July) says "The older you get the less you sleep." LOL! Not sure if that's true or not, but....that's what she says!

Sleep problem - knock it on the head as soon as you can before it becomes a habit. I am a terribly light sleeper and most nights am woken up by something. My mother has spent years of not being able to sleep, tried everything and is thoroughly fed up with it.
Hope you get through it. Not fun.

If I don't get a good night's sleep, which is pretty often, I feel very draggy the next day. Hope you get a good night's sleep tonight.

Oh dear, I had some issues sleeping over the holidays and I know what a drag it can be. I hope your sleep cycle gets back to normal soon! You can always try chamomile, that always helps with me.

I hope you have a good time shopping, I used to love doing that with my mom when she still had enough free time to go with me!
