Bring on Spring.
Love the new picture of Molly.
I saw a ladybug in the house the other day and thought of you.
First time I have ever seen one in the house at this time of year.
Surely it is a good sign that Spring will be here soon.

Gill your doggy on the header simply warms my heart! Gorgeous image!
Yes we are reminded by our archive photos that soon Spring shall bring forth a word of color and delight! We also have had a late winter snow fall here..however the garden
looks so pristine dressed in white!

Yes, spring for you and autumn for us. Warm wether for you and cold for us.
Beautiful flowers for you and not so beautiful for us. It's the life.

Here the heat is so much that I hope the cold will come soon

Good week, dear!

These are my favorites! We had one in Alaska that for first 3-4 years we lived there didn't bloom. Then a volcano erupted and it was full of blooms after that--We figured that the ash added what it was missing to the soil.

We had five inches of snow on the ground yesterday. I can hardly wait for spring myself - 21 days - yes, I'm counting. :)
Lovely lilacs! They do smell wonderful.

That's a lovely bush. The weather can make you feel really miserable, can't it. Just think of summer. It's on the way...

Oooh, lilacs! My mom has three huge bushes of those and they smell so heavenly. They don't grow down here, unfortunately.

Hope you get your warmth soon!

That's beautiful Gill, and warms me up too. Never mind, spring will be here before we know it. We've got more snow heading our way too this week ;( Another thing that made me smile when I visited today was that beautiful photo of Molly in your header. She sure is a pretty dog.

Hi Gill, I read about your blog on Expat Mum's blog. The post I read was about your moving to your new house and the story about the visitors (animals) you had. I just couldn't find that post back, but it reminded me so much our first year here in States (we moved from Holland) that I wanted to leave a little note. Since we moved here, my favorite animal is a Raccoon. My kids joke me whenever they see a raccoon, we got about 7 removed from under the deck. I can't remember the count of the mouse. But of course, we also have the deer daily in our backyard which we love to see.
As I said, I just wanted to leave a note and say hello.
