Proud to be British born today........

The wedding was just beautiful.  The couple looked so happy and in love.  The dress was lovely, very classic and not over the top.  Loved Pippa's (maid of honours) dress as well, again very classic and classy.

The little ones were so cute.  The amount of organization going into this ceremony must be overwhelming, but it seemed to go without a hitch.

So pleased that the weather was lovely and it stayed dry for them.  Had a tear in my eye during the actual ceremony and when they played the National Anthem it was such a proud moment for all in Britain.

I ended up watching CNN and CTV for the coverage.  I found CNN to be better as it had Piers Morgan on there and he knows his stuff about Britain.

I had no desire to be there, but was glad to watch it on the tv and I think this was the boost both the country and the Royal family needed..........

Bits and bobs, plus the Royal Wedding.....

was pooped yesterday when I got home from work.  I had a terrible headache and the drive home was miserable with the rain and the fog.  So after supper other than doing a load of laundry I sat down in front of the tv and just vegged out.

Molly let me sleep until after 6:30am this morning, so I feel a bit better, plus my headache has gone.

Have a few things to do today and one of them is to go into town to get my hair cut.  The girl who cut it last time did a poor job and I don't like it.  It's my own fault, as I refuse to pay full price at a regular hairdressers and go to a discount chain place, so I guess its a case of you get what you pay for.  Anyhow one side of my hair is pouffy and it is driving me potty.

While in town though I have to get gas for the car and call in at an upholstery place to see about getting the window seat cushion made, as I want it all piped etc, and I know I am not skilled enough to do a professional looking job.

The daily poll question on Swagbucks this morning, was will you be watching the Royal Wedding.  Now this is a USA based company and 50% of the people answered no.  I find the people in the States are not "into" the Royal family as much as we are in Canada, which I find interesting.  I of course will be up at the crack of dawn to watch it.  I am thinking around 4:30 am will be soon enough.  Not sure which channel though will be the best coverage?  Any ideas?

Last day of February........YEAH!!

Well I have survived the longest horrible-ist (no such word I know) month of the year.  If you read this blog on a regular basis you already know I detest February, because of the rotten weather we always get.  March generally brings forth brighter warmer weather.........I am touching wood (my head) as I write this.

I bought some Bee Pollen on Sunday.  Bee Pollen is the only known food which contains every essential nutrient needed by mankind for perfect health.

The overall benefits to taking Bee Pollen are:

  • Increases the bodies resistance to stress and diseases and speeds up the healing process in most conditions of ill health.
  • Possesses age-retarding and rejuvenate properties.
  • Great energy booster.
  • Appetite suppressant.
  • Weight management (weight loss & control)
  • Help relieves "seasonal allergies."
  • Lower blood pressure.
  • Asthma.
  • Fatigue.
  • Pre-menstrual & Menopause.
  • Skin Conditions.
  • Feeling of Well Being.
  • Alertness.
  • Sexual Desire and performance.
  • Athletic Endurance.
Now if all that happens I am going to be a new woman!!!

I give Molly 1/4 tsp of bee pollen every day, so if its good enough for her it's good enough for me!!

While I was looking at the Royal Doulton site yesterday I noticed that Wedgwood is bringing out a line of Royal Wedding commemorative pieces, here is a link to them.  Funny thing though it's only showing on the UK site; not that I have any desire to buy one.  Not really into that sort of thing.

One thing I have done though is made dd a fan of Wedgwood, she has dibs on my Wedgwood Christmas ornaments when I die she says!!!!   Like me she loves Jasperware; I only have around nine pieces plus my Christmas ornaments, and infact my Jasperware plates are still wrapped up in boxes from when we moved as I haven't found a suitable place to put them up yet.

Imperfect.......

(credit) I think that quote says it all.......as no one is perfect and this world is far from being perfect, at least in my eyes.
