I hope not!!
(First of the daffodils flowering)Friday was a glorious day. I spent most of the morning in the basement, stripping down the basement windows and washing everything. Not sure when washing three windows became a tiring job, but it was!! I was pooped afterwards. However I did go outside and did some tidying up on the front porch and in the garden as it's yard waste week, and honestly it was so nice outside, I just wanted to feel a bit of sunshine on my face.
Fast forward to Saturday and it poured down, I mean really poured down. Perfect weather for ducks but that's about it! I hope that the one day of nice weather isn't it, before the summer heat hits.......just saying!! Spring is a bit of a one day it's here, and then the next day it's gone situation!!
Do you clean windows at your home? Or do you get a service in to do them? I clean ours though not every other week, like I was taught to do while living in the UK.

When I lived in my house, windows were washed frequently. Apartment living is very different, twice a year. Cleaned???? One bucket of water from the 8th floor down to the first. I am on the 5th floor so mine are so, so. I do my balcony doors on a regular basis.
I clean mine about every month or so. Find it much easier since putting a Karcher window vac on my xmas list a few years ago. It leaves windows and big mirrors streak free as it sucks up the water.
I like those daffodils.
A very good window cleaner visits quite regularly.
All the best Jan
The RC cleans our windows and luckily our windows are new-ish and they open inwards to make them easy to clean. We only have four windows so not a big job.
There were snow flurries again this morning and tomorrow, if the weather report is to be believed, is supposed to break records for being cold.
I find it fascinating how energizing that spring weather can be, drawing so many of us out into the yard! I only wash some of my windows 3 or 4 times a year. I really need to have a lot of windows replaced. They are old and not very efficient and although the seals don't seem to have broken, they are a bit hazy. But, I do have to wash our sliding glass door and the window in my sewing room. Those glass areas are decorated with Corgi nose prints!
When we got married I told Harvey I don't do windows or paint (have broken down and painted outdoors) and so he does the windows twice a year.
God bless.
