Collective PTSD. We're all feeling like this.
All my life, I haven't been able to do a damn thing about any of the crap that goes on in politics. The difference is the malevolence. The cruelty is the point. That's what's different.
Sending you a hug. We can look forward to an obituary soon, I think.
I am not like you, and you are not like me. We are all a product of our upbringing. We learn from an early age, from our parents and family around us. We are also herd animals, we look to others for guidance and inspiration. We are actively encouraged to join a group, when in reality we would be better to follow our own instincts. No need to bring politics into it.
very much baffled by everything political at the moment , but more baffled by the missing common sense and the lack of decency in the political classes
Never thought we could be all suffering from PTSD at this point, but maybe we are?
Well said!
exactly common sense has flown out of the window that's for sure........
It seems (at least to me) to be a fine balancing act between watching the news in order to be informed and suffering from overload over the sheer idiocy. And yes, I'm sure many of us are indeed suffering from a form of PTSD.
It's terrible here in the US now. i would love to emigrate to Canada but they don't want 70+ people. Six months is the most one can do.
A lot of the world is suffering :( Bad decisions, wars, genocides, takeovers. Few remain unaffected. It's tough.
It's just awful right now and embarrassing too.
It's frightening. Not knowing where it is all going to end. And most of it has happened in the last year.
Belated Happy New Year.
The world is not in a good place at the moment.
Concentrate on your small corner and make it a pleasant place.
Have tea with some friends, help out in a charity shop or similar.
You are then doing good and it helps to cancel worries and concerns that are probably beyond your control.
I wish you a more peaceful state of mind.
My good wishes.
All the best Jan
Common sense seems to have gone out of the window. Journalists are not calling out obvious lies. Some people think expert is a dirty word. Some people think this is all part of a grand plan. -seriously the leaders of the world are all marching to the same tune.
People get their information from X thinking this is more reliable that those journalists who will ask questions.
It is really so demoralizing. Both the cruelty and those among us who defend it so vehemently
I truly believe we are actually going through PDST right now. I so hope things improve soon (doubtful but as frugal people we can prepare as well as possible).
God bless.
Anyone with sense is feeling this. We are not in a good place. I am stocking up on necessities and praying for the best.
It's all so discouraging. I feel so powerless.
I feel exactly like that emoji. I am just heartsick. Sigh
