Quiet day on Wednesday for me.

Other than going to the mail box never left the house all day.  I did get some more trim painted, which is a good job, jobbed, as I say.  Got a load of laundry done, again another good job, jobbed.  Even got a bit more of the baby hat knit. I like those sort of days, when you get things done without any other distractions.

Back on the 16th dd and family came over as the boys, (ds and son-in-law) went golfing with a couple of their friends.  Meanwhile dd and our Little Munchkin stayed at home with me.  Our Little Munchkin went for her usual two hour sleep at lunch time, while her mummy made her a pair of shorts and I did some knitting.  Here she is eating her snack sitting by the kitchen window.  She loves looking out of it waving at everything and everyone going by.

When Granddad came home from work we all went to McDonald's for an ice cream.  That bib lasted all of two minutes around her neck.  At least she sat still while she shared her mummy's ice cream.
Then while her mummy and Nana were busy looking around the store, Granddad pushed her around in the trolley, both as happy as Larry. Our Little Munchkin, loves her Granddad!!

Got "stuff" to do today, which means leaving the house.  I do enjoy those days when I can stay at home; are you a homebody?

I like days when I don't leave. Can't reremember the last one. Has it ever happened I wonder. Hmmm . Target. Don't leave house on Saturday. No have to take youngest riding. How about Sunday, no Mr Him wants us to go to garden centre.

I could be a home body but have to go out to work everyday and weekends are errands and church. Unfortunately the only days I get to spend home are snow days and then I have to shovel most of it.

Thought I would stay home today, but have to run and get one of my nails fixed since I had a manicure. As always, I have to take our son to work too!

I am very much a homebody. I haven't worked outside our home for twent years so I am accustomed to being at home. Love the photos of Munchkin!

I'm most definitely a homebody! There is nothing i like more than pottering around home all day :-)

Your daughter is so lucky that Little Munchkin has a daily 2hr nap, Oliver is on the go from when he gets up until he goes to bed and has always refused to have a nap in the day despite us trying to get him to!

When we lived in the Pocono Mtns. early on in our marriage I DID stay home a lot. Mostly the stores were so far away(had to drive an hour to grocery shop! eek)so I wasn't tempted but in a great while to go out. This sure helped our bottom line too. lolz
Our home was also in the midst of a state forest so it was an idyllic setting, plus I had plenty of visitors at home of the wildlife kind--deer, turkey, bears, possums, raccoons, birds, snakes ,etc.

As I age I am finding I rather enjoy being a homebody again.
Not this week however as I have a cheese deal to run over and over again. ;-)

I do love to stay home. What I love especially, is to be home all alone. I have always loved solitude. I remember as a little girl, having a best friend that lived two houses away, and we were together all the time. But I remember always being a bit relieved when she had to go home and I could go to my room and play with my Barbie dolls all by myself!

What a great gift: days with our favorite little ones are so special. I am more of a homebody than I ever thought I would be. I love days at home, (non-hair and make-up days are the best) but I also love days with interesting things to do.

I work from home so I have the perfect excuse to be a homebody and I do like it. Your grand daughter looks adorable.

Gill, she is sure adorable! There is just nothing like our grands! Lorelei loves her granddad, too...

Am i ever a homebody! It is always a wonderful day if we can just stay home. Seems like there are seldom days where we don't go somewhere. But thankfully, we live in a small town...less than 10,000 people, and most of the time it is just errands here. Takes less than 5 minutes to go most places we go...Walmart, grocery store, post office, hardware store, etc.

Can I just come visit for a few days, I can tell I would love it, quiet, cute baby, knitting, sewing, laughing, because if I am there there will be laughter.

I have two days of being a homebody :) Love it. I've been playing with the new to me craft of transferring printed images to wood and canvas. I also stitched up a couple of garden flags that I'll be crafting with the grandkids in BC next week. Hubby was busy putting a shed together, so we were both happy to be home. Hope everyone in your family is healthy.

Being home is the best isn't it? I love to be at home, either here or at the lake. If I didn't have to leave, I would be happy. Your little one is so cute. Love the piggy-tails.
Blessings,
Betsy
