Isn't that the neatest thing ever? I asked him for a "thingy" to put our wet wellies and snow boots on to dry. I need to get a plastic boot tray to put underneath it. He made a smashing job of it, all from scrap pieces of wood he had in his workshop.
Dh had to work on Saturday until after lunch. We then went to dd for our supper, roast beef, mashed potatoes, carrot and turnip (rutabaga) and gravy, it was yummy. She lives on the 21st floor of a condo building , and there are other condo building and townhouse complexes around her. She was telling me and pointing out the condo, where the guy does his cooking in his kitchen in the nude :00 She was also saying she hasn't seen him in a while; I suggested maybe he had an accident in the kitchen and chopped something off ;0) When you are surrounded by other condos you don't wander round your condo in the nude with your blinds open now do you!! Or do you?

That 'thingy'for the boots is a great idea Did he invent it -- if so he ought to patent it. Brilliant.
Wow, great work from your dad.
Not sure about the condo guy - maybe he never looks out his windows & didn't realise other people could see into his? Or maybe he took the Naked Chef way too seriously?
Love the wellie rack- very good. I have a friend who does her housework in the nude- she says it is very liberating...............
What big feet you have! (Only joking)
I love the wellie rack. I want one, too.
You'll have to tell us sometime what you do to rutabagas to call them yummy. We grew them on a lark summer before last. Yuck. Stunk up the whole house when they cooked. I said "never again!!"
Liz in Texas where it's cold on the range
Brilliant rack!
As for the condo thing, I think a lot of people don't realize that if you can see in other peoples' windows, they can see in yours, even if they do seem to be far away...
"If it wisnae for oor wellies where wid we be?"
