This past week was a bonus points redemption event at Shopper's Drug Mart. I had been saving up my points and had 130,000 points that I could redeem for $200 worth of free product.
Here is what I got for under $17 out of pocket.
I got 4 bottles of Aveeno body lotion, for the winter. A Dove shampoo and conditioner. An eight pack of Activia yogurt, a jar of pasta sauce, and two loaves of bread. Plus some chocolate/mint cookie things for the Christmas party.
Also four pizzas for the freezer, a couple can's of baked beans, 4 litre bag of milk and the big ticket item 5 containers of coffee which if I had, had to pay for would have cost $95. When did coffee get so expensive?

That's a good deal, I suppose our equivalent would be Tesco club card points and Sainsburys Nectar points, although I would never get to that amount because I don't spend all that much in those shops, lol
You certainly did get a good amount of needy things. I have an Optimum card, however, don't spend a lot of money to collect them. I usually spend them on bonus redemption day too, but not this time.
You did really well!! I somehow missed the bonus day this time around.
Looks and sounds a good deal.
All the best Jan
I usually don't bother with the bonus redemptions because I really only buy makeup at SDM.
I cash in about $50/month in points when I go grocery shopping at Superstore. The money goes into a jar to cover my grocery money in Spain. Usually it's around$600.
I use a PC mastercard so the points add up. Airmiles is over in our house.
Well done. I don't do the points thing, but after reading this perhaps I should.
God bless.
You hit the jackpot!
