I watched three movies and tried to relax. It's hard being awake that long and all of the next day but what can you do? I have only flown 3 times, and the thing that really finished me off was the smell of hot food. If I ever fly again, I am investing in a good inflatable head rest to try and sleep the whole flight. I just tell myself it is worth it for the holiday at the other end, but there is no way I could fly to somewhere like Australia....Debdorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18144784177810052734noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1605129043543619307.post-61542439292896264062018-09-13T09:01:14.559-04:002018-09-13T09:01:14.559-04:00I can't sleep on a plane either. That is what I did and I didn't know a thing. I don't get motion sickness but I do have anxiety attacks and looking out the window over water wasn't my idea of a good time so I just knocked myself out. I'm fine going to the USA & have no problems with tiredness or feeling out of sorts. I'm not too bad on the flight home and I can usually nod off if I'm not sitting next to a total stranger! However when I get home, crumbs I am a pain in the proverbial! I am on another planet for a couple of days.

Hope your flight isn't too bad Gill. Flying just isn't a lot of fun anymore - just a means to an end I'm afraid.
