I'm fairly certain they have a lamb, and maybe a venison one, and they are grain free.Summer Bhttp://www.lovewalkers.proboards.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1605129043543619307.post-7052070456996535002010-02-09T09:10:07.343-05:002010-02-09T09:10:07.343-05:00Molly knows she has found a real home. Thank you for the laundry softner recipe. My Gram swore vinegar was the eighth wonder of the world. So I use it all the time. One way to get an editors attention is to write a strong editorial - I did and was then made a featured columnist.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1605129043543619307.post-21243334779808377882010-02-09T08:30:09.936-05:002010-02-09T08:30:09.936-05:00That is one chilled-out doggie :o)That is one chilled-out doggie :o)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1605129043543619307.post-1929360692846855482010-02-09T05:42:47.823-05:002010-02-09T05:42:47.823-05:00She looks so comfortable, you can't possibly e...She looks so comfortable, you can't possibly expect her to move!!! xxxTraceyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14623660322653630759noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1605129043543619307.post-53144572781786195052010-02-09T05:40:40.636-05:002010-02-09T05:40:40.636-05:00How nice to see Molly so settled. I bet she is glad you picked her!
Re: chickens..once you have your chicken house, feeding and drinking utensils they are very little work at all. Just keep em safe from dogs and foxes..feed, water, clean out twice a week (maybe three depending on your hens) and that is it. The more room they have, the less they need cleaning out..they just have hay or straw in their hen house and that just needs changing..
Fertiliser and eggs included lol
And their characters are fantasic. Two hens (perfect for a couple) are all you need. Get an egg laying breed rather than a meat bird and you should practically have eggs all year. Rhode Island Red crosses are the best: hardy and do not mind you taking their eggs at all!
I can remember you posting about the effort and cost effectiveness of growing your onw..and then you grew your own and were converted rofl.
You will find the same with a couple fo hens ;-)stitchersanonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12844767540468536515noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1605129043543619307.post-92127645654997331652010-02-09T05:30:05.796-05:002010-02-09T05:30:05.796-05:00thanks for the fabric softener tip - I'm going...thanks for the fabric softener tip - I'm going to try this & I'll let you know how I do.
