I read the newer post and what the guy said about it. I had thought of it being heavy.

I have a Dyson big vac that I got in May...I have a love/hate relationship with it. I LOVE it for carpet...it does a super job. I love that it is bagless.

I don't like it for bare floors. The hose is coiled so tight that it is a struggle to pull it out and use it. I was hoping it would relax, but it doesn't.

You can turn the powerhead off till it doesn't rotate, but it is such a pain to me to use it and try to vacuum around the table, etc. Plus I just don't think it does as good as my old vacuum on bare floors. And the crevice tool could be better...

Rosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08015780995837712115noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1605129043543619307.post-23081985456376887102016-11-03T22:50:57.621-04:002016-11-03T22:50:57.621-04:00A new vacuum is on our list too. This second one is a Royal and will suck the chrome off a trailer hitch! Even though this one is almost 24 years old, I hope it will be my last, working until I no longer need a vacuum.
pparsimonyLindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14991571309786149363noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1605129043543619307.post-24209248862262674192016-11-03T18:53:08.866-04:002016-11-03T18:53:08.866-04:00So sorry that you are having such bad luck with po...So sorry that you are having such bad luck with power nozzles.

My old vac is hanging in there, but I have started to price out brands and watch for sales. My other choice would have been a vax as my friends Vax has a 'super amount of suck' on it. Almost lifts the dirt out of the foundations never mind the carpet.
