I have tactics to put up with the heat, but am noticing that it affects me much less than lots of people.Karinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07462017384530247677noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1605129043543619307.post-52633146344055448482011-07-17T20:47:17.908-04:002011-07-17T20:47:17.908-04:00I have wilted!

I am sorry about your allergies -- I feel your pain. No, I don't like heat and humidity. I grew up in South Texas and it was hot and humid but we had nice breezes from the Gulf of Mexico. Now I live in North Texas and we don't have the humidity but we don't have the nice breezes, either -- just the heat. It is hotter here than in the south!Boyett-Brinkleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02066753762645278933noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1605129043543619307.post-2548904543774349122011-07-17T14:57:39.589-04:002011-07-17T14:57:39.589-04:00It's hot here, not humid. I have always had great admiration for people with carpentry skills, as was the case this weekend when we had built-in, floor-to-ceiling bookcases made for our family room. I'm going to be doing a post on them this week. The chicken dish sounded very interesting and something I would like to try. You didn't add anything? No liquid, just seasonings? Sorry you're still having problems with your allergies. We're having a heatwave heading our way. I have been hearing about 100 plus temperatures from other blogging friends, not looking forward to that. I won't be going outside very much.DeniseinVAhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08494518513936310345noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1605129043543619307.post-16532953122438297202011-07-17T14:23:06.773-04:002011-07-17T14:23:06.773-04:00I love reading about your house and what you do ar...I love reading about your house and what you do around it... very interesting!

I HATE the high heat and humidity. No A/C at home, so I prefer to be at work when it's that bad. I am writing this at 11:08 a.m. Sunday, my thermometre is reading 34.8 C in the shade. I have A/C on but it makes my sinus plug up and then have post nasal drip.
